The Coquitlam Express travel to West Kelowna tonight to play the Warriors (22-12-2-2) who sit 3rd in the BCHL’s Interior conference. Both teams are coming off ties in their most recent games.
Ryan Rosenthal, named the 1st star in his two goal performance last Saturday, will be looking to extend his point streak to 9 games. The Express captain currently leads the team in goals (23) and is 2nd in points (47).
With the BCHL’s trade deadline approaching tonight, the Express acquired the CJHL playing rights to defenseman Mark Whiteley (93) from Salmon Arm on Wednesday. The Warriors have also been active on the trade front with the acquisitions of Devon Andrews (95), Braden Pears (93) and Nathan Craft (94) over the last couple of days.
