The Coquitlam Express will try to take hold of the Mainland Division final best of seven series tonight, when they play the Langley Rivermen in game five at the Langley Event Centre.
Despite a slight lead by the Rivermen going into the second period of game 5 the Express battled hard and fought back to win the game 5-3 taking a 3-1 series lead with the win and earning the chance to close things out tonight.
The Express have yet to lose two games in a row in these playoffs and going into tonight, they are still in good position, leading the series by three games to one. With a victory tonight on Rivermen ice, they can eliminate the Rivermen taking home the title of Mainland Division Playoff Champions. If Langley manages to pull out another victory however, they will bring the series back to the Poirier Sports and Leisure Complex Friday night.
Tonight's puck drop for game 5 is scheduled for 7:15 PM at the Langley Event Centre.
