Express win over Langley to take a 2-0 lead in Mainland Division Series.

The Coquitlam Express made two first period goals stand up as they were 2-1 winners over the Langley Rivermen in Game Two of the Mainland Division Series to take a 2-0 lead.

It was Captain Ryan Rosenthal leading the way again as he set up the first Express goal and scored the second.  Express Head Coach Barry Wolff says Rosenthal's play paves the way for the rest of the team, "The way he competes and raises his level of play creates space and opportunities for us every time he is on the ice".

Zack Hodder opened the scoring for the Express on the power play and had a strong game at both ends of the rink, while Gordie Defiel had another big game as he stopped 36 shots to record the win, including several key third period saves to preserve the victory.

The Express now head home to the Train Station at the PSLC for game three on Monday night. Game time is 7pm.
