The Coquitlam Express are proud to announce forward Blake Hayward has been named to play in the CJHL Prospects Game for Team West January 26 at South Surrey Arena. Hayward will join 8 other BCHL players in the game.
The CJHL Prospects Game was created to showcase the top NHL Prospects in the CJHL as identified by NHL Central Scouting. The Game features players from the CJHL’S five western leagues, (BCHL,AJHL,SJHL,MJHL,SIJHL) competing against players from the CJHL’S five eastern leagues (NOJHL, OJHL, CCHL, QJHL, MHL).
The winning team is awarded the President’s Cup.
Coquitlam Express Head Coach/General Manager Barry Wolff says, “We are very proud of Blake and his opportunity to skate once again with the best of the best. He has worked hard to get where he is today in his game, and to be recognized by the NHL central scouting and to be picked to play in the prospect’s game is another feather in his cap!”
