The Edmonton Oilers have agreed to terms on a two-year contact with Express alumni Brad Hunt. A native of Maple Ridge, BC, the 5-foot-9, 174lb defenseman played for the Express between 2005-2008 before attending Bemidji State University of the NCAA’s Division I WCHA where he was named to the First All-Star Team in 2009/10.
After graduating university, he signed with the Chicago Wolves of the AHL in 2011. Last season he led all team defensemen with 33 points.
As a member of the Express, Brad totaled 93 points and 118 PIM in 123 regular season games.
