On an ordinary day, if you were to attend an orgnaized sporting event and throw an item onto the playing surface, you'd probably be banned from the game. However, this Saturday we're encouraging you to do just that for a good cause.
Among the many resources SHARE provides to the Tri-Cities community, they also help organize Christmas toy drives. At this Saturday's home game between the Express and the Trail Smoke Eaters, we encourage you, the fans, to support our community by participating in the annual Teddy Bear Toss. Bring a clean, gently used teddy bear, or purchase one at the game for $10, and when the Express score their first goal, lets cover the ice with teddys!
All of the teddy bears with be collected, dried and donated to families in need in our community. The proceeds from those bears purchased at the game will also go to SHARE.
Puck drops Saturday, 7pm, at the Poirier Sport & Leisure Complex. See you there!
