The Coquitlam Express Junior A Hockey Club have launched a new online campaign called “We are here for you!” that is focused on restaurants that are going to be affected by the new Public Health Order.
The Public Health Order which starts tonight (March 29th) at midnight and will last for three weeks which states all restaurants and bars must stop dine-in services and only provide delivery, takeout and patio services.
“This measure from Dr. Henry is something we all support, however, we know the possible financial implications to restaurants so we wanted to start an online campaign to show our followers the local restaurants in our area who we can still order from and support.” said Coquitlam Express vice president and general manager Tali Campbell “This has been a really tough year for many people, and one of the hardest hit industries is being hit again but I know if we all come together, order when we can, support the restaurants, we can get through this!”
Campbell is asking all restaurants to send an email with their information including restaurant name, hours of operations, ordering instructions and anything you want included on the social media post to firstname.lastname@example.org.
As the Express are gearing up to start the 2021 POD Season on Friday these posts will be added to their Twitter account (5,327 followers), Instagram account (2,480 followers) and Facebook page (1,934 likes) throughout the coming weeks.
