Coquitlam Express Announces Dylan West as New Head Athletic Therapist and Assistant Equipment Manager

The Coquitlam Express Hockey Club is thrilled to announce the hiring of Dylan West as the new Head Athletic Therapist and Assistant Equipment Manager.

West graduated from Sheridan College and spent the last year with the Vancouver Canucks Hockey Club and the BC Lions Football Club as their Assistant Athletic Therapist. West’s appointment comes as the Coquitlam Express prepares for an exciting new season. As the team strives for excellence both on and off the ice, West’s role will be crucial in ensuring the players’ health and well-being. Having spent time with the BC Lions of the Canadian Football League and the Vancouver Canucks of the National Hockey League, West has honed his skills in providing exceptional care to athletes at the highest level. His experience in professional sports has equipped him with a deep understanding of the physical demands and challenges faced by athletes, making him an ideal fit for the Coquitlam Express.

As the Head Athletic Therapist, West will be responsible for the prevention, assessment, and treatment of injuries, as well as the rehabilitation and conditioning of players. Additionally, as the Assistant Equipment Manager, he will ensure that the team’s equipment is properly maintained and ready for each game and practice. The Coquitlam Express will name a new Equipment Manager in the coming days. 

The Coquitlam Express season gets started Saturday, September 2nd when the club welcomes 35-players to town for their Main Camp.
