Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express Junior A Hockey Club are excited to announce their commitment to tidying up the cities which they serve, Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Port Moody, New Westminster and Burnaby through their new ‘Working Together’ initiative,
“Every year thousands of fans come to our games to support our players, every year a number of businesses support us through sponsorships and every year we are blessed to have the support from so many others and we wanted to start a campaign that gave back to our communities,” said Tali Campbell, Express’ vice-president and general manager “this initiative is going to get our players into the community helping to clean up parks, beaches and other community areas so we continue to take pride in where we play.”
The Working Together initiative will kick off in October and will run throughout the season. This program will be in partnership with local businesses who are supporting by offering the material to clean the areas.
