Express sign 2003-born goalie Adam Manji

Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce the signing of 2003 born Goalie Adam Manji.

“Adam was a goalie I identified last year when I was the general manager with the Nanaimo Clippers and further observed him when he was with the Victoria Grizzlies during the Extended Training Camp last season,” said Tali Campbell, Express general manager. “Since then, he has taken huge steps by training with Ibby Ali, who trains various professional hockey players and worked this summer with goaltending coaches including Lynden Sammartino and Ron Veit. We are excited to have him as part of the team.”

“Adam’s 6’4″ frame, huge wingspan and his extreme athleticism are highly coveted in today’s game,” added professional goalie trainer Lynden Sammartino. “He has worked extremely hard to get to this level and I couldn’t be more proud of him.”
“Adam attended all 3 major Express camps this summer and stood out with the lowest GAA amongst goalies. I am aware of other programs interested in his services, but we  were happy to have a serious dialogue with him to come play for us and stay local,” added Express Head Coach Brandon Shaw.

Manji and the Express kickoff main camp on September 17th.
