The Coquitlam Express are proud to announce their participation in this year’s Terry Fox Run – the team will be hosting a private run to raise money.
In 1979, Terry said, “Anything is possible if you try.” Those words were a rallying cry to Canadians to join in on the fight against cancer, and since then, The Terry Fox Foundation has raised an incredible $850 million to aid in this battle.
“Growing up as a kid, we all took part in our school’s Terry Fox Run, and we learned how amazing Terry was at raising awareness and money for cancer research. I feel that, around this area, this event is even more impactful because Terry was born so close to our arena.
