Two Regular Season Games happening in Port Coquitlam

Port Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce that they will play two games at the new Port Coquitlam Community Centre this coming season. The dates have been set for February 14th and February 19th both games against arch rivals the Surrey Eagles. 

 
“We talk a lot about being a Tri-Cities team, and with the new arena in Port Coquitlam almost ready we figured it was perfect timing to move two games this season to that facility.” commented Tali Campbell Express vice president and general manager “I was able to get a behind the scenes tour and the centre is absolutely incredible. We are excited to be one of the first to be able to fill the building with fans.” 
 
“We are excited to welcome the Coquitlam Express and Surrey Eagles to come and play along with their families, friends and fans to our new vibrant community hub, the Port Coquitlam Community Centre.” Mayor Brad West said “We are looking forward to providing our community members and teams a place to be able to enjoy sports, maintain active lifestyles and connect with each other all year-round.”
 
“We look forward to hosting these two teams in our new Jon Baillie ice arena” said Port Coquitlam Councillor Steve Darling “We are excited to watch our community team in action, especially these two rival teams.”
 
The Coquitlam Express will open up their season on September 17th with 40 players at Main Camp presented by Canadian Tire.
