“We wish to thank all stakeholders including the Public Health Office, City of Coquitlam, Government of BC, the BCHL and our internal staff who all worked incredibly hard to make this happen. I wish to also thank our players, parents, billet families, volunteers and amazing fans for their patience as we worked through the various hurdles to ensure that we could do this in a safe and meaningful manner. Lastly, thank you to the Surrey Eagles and Powell River Kings for allowing us to host the Lower Mainland hub,” said Express Governor Fayaz Manji.
The Express continue to work through all the guidelines set out by the Public Health Office to make sure the Lower Mainland Hub is hosted with safety as the number one priority for players, staff and volunteers.
“This is great news all around. Having the Hub in the Lower Mainland will also directly impact the local economy positively as a result” said Tali Campbell, Express’ vice-president and general manager. “We are excited to get the players on the ice and the season started.”
The BCHL will announce the full schedule in the coming weeks. All games can be watched on BCHL TV. For more info visit
