Kyle Turris added as Special Advisor to the GM & Player Development Coach

Coquitlam, BC – The Coquitlam Express are excited to announce alumnus Kyle Turris is joining the club as the Special Advisor to the General Manager and Player Development Coach.

Turris, a native of New Westminster played with the Coquitlam Express during the 2005-2006 and 2006-2007 seasons where he helped lead the team to a Fred Page Cup Championship. He was drafted third overall by the Phoenix Coyotes and spent 13 seasons in the NHL before retiring this offseason.
“I am really excited to have Kyle joining the team on the management side of things and with the players,” commented Tali Campbell, Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the Coquitlam Express “Anytime you can get your Alumni involved at any level is great but for someone like Kyle to jump on board in this big way, is fantastic and will help us to grow our program and bring the Fred Page Cup back to Coquitlam.”
“The Express organization played a key role in my personal and professional growth,” said Kyle Turris “I am excited about having the opportunity to work with Tali and Patrick as they help each player develop individually, while pursuing the Fred Page Cup as a team.”
The Coquitlam Express will start Main Camp on September 2nd.
