The Express head into the weekend looking to get home ice advantage in the first round of playoffs and the best way to do that, is to win their final two games starting tonight against the Cowichan Valley Capitals.

The Capitals are 9th in the Coastal Conference with a 10-35-4-2 record.

The Express are 4th in the Coastal Conference with a 27-18-4-3 record.

This season the Express are 2-0-1 against the Capitals, losing their first game in overtime and winning the last two.

Keys To Victory:

The Capitals might be out of the playoffs but don’t count them out as under Mike Vandekamp they have played better hockey. The Express will need performances from their top guys to control the game like Mateo Dixon, Mirko Buttazzoni and Tyler Kopff.

Lineup Changes:

No notable lineup changes for the game.
